Private Company Holds Event to Support Local Education Partners
KENOSHA, WI - July 18th, 2016 - Answering the age-old question, “When are we going to use this in real life?”, Leeward Business Advisors (LeewardBA) is hosting HarborFest ’16: “Dueling for Community Involvement”. This education-focused event will showcase compelling ways private businesses can introduce students to real-world experiences. “Dueling for Community Involvement” will be held at the Historic Simmons Field, home of the Kenosha Kingfish, Thursday, July 28th from 3:30pm to 8:00pm.
LeewardBA HarborFest ‘16’s long-term objective is to establish a strong presence as a community leader in supporting education. LeewardBA has entered several impactful education-focused partnerships this past year, ranging from local elementary and high schools, to the nationwide organization Junior Achievement (JA). LeewardBA HarborFest ’16 will highlight these partnerships, and the positive improvement it has spurred for the greater community.
All guests will be treated to complimentary food, beverages, and entertainment by Howl at the Moon dueling pianos. A suggested donation of $5 benefiting JA will be encouraged to guests. Entertainment will begin at 5:00pm, which will be a dueling pianos performance by Howl at the Moon. They will play in 15-30 minute sets throughout the entirety of the event. LeewardBA and partners will be delivering speeches during the entertainment breaks. Guests will also be able to purchase raffle tickets to enter to win a 3D printer. Invited guests will include employees of established Small Medium Business (SMB) organizations, select VIP enterprise representatives, and local members of the greater Kenosha community. All guests are invited to join the celebration and should expect to learn more about the impact of businesses on the community.
