CyberPatriot the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. At the center of CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. The competition puts teams of middle school students in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company.
This is the second year LeewardBA’s CEO, Michael Polzin is coaching all-girl middle-school teams for the competition. Last year our two teams took 2nd and 3rd place in the state!
You do not need any experience; however, you must be committed to attending training and competition sessions. It will be a team of 5 with 1 alternate. Your teammates will depend on you.
The practices and competitions (with the exception of National Finals) are done online. Participants do not need to have a computer—all necessary technology will be supplied at LeewardBA.
